I recently had the joy of attending a postpartum visit near Gilmer, TX with a sweet family, and it was such a heartwarming experience. The 2-week-old baby was thriving, and watching her new big sister love her sibling was absolutely precious. Moments like these are why I love what I do. As an East Texas doula, I get to support families during one of the most tender, beautiful transitions of their lives. I’m so glad that I also get to offer photography services during my postpartum home visits. Capturing these moments allows families to look back on this special season and remember just how much love surrounded them from the very beginning.
