Baby H’s birth was amazing! Mama started contractions in the evening; by 7:30, we were heading to the hospital, and baby was born around 8:30PM! This mom was so calm; it was hard to even tell when she was having contraction waves! And Baby H came out so alert and hungry and precious. I was so blessed to be a part of this family’s journey.

This was my first time to FILM a birth instead of shooting still images, and I loved it! Some of you may remember my background is in film production, but I had not yet translated that over to birth. I was thrilled when my fellow doula, Holly, told me she was looking for a birth videographer to film her homebirth, so I decided to jump on that chance. What a blessing to be at this STRONG woman’s labor. (For best viewing, please choose the 1080p HD option!)
